Bill and I will be having a chat on the phone sometime this week. Exciting, exciting, exciting!

I'm so happy for you! Will you be doing an interview or is this just a private chat? Either way, very proud and very jealous!
Coveting is a sin.
Just a chat, who knows where it will lead.![]()

I will surely be crapping my pants, but I like to live on the edge.

It's not like you're talking to Billy Friedkin! Now that guy would make me crap my pants. Blatty, he's a teddy bear.
My favorite teddy bear.

I'll make an elaborate post this Wednesday when I'm home. I won't post anything said that was deeply personal, obviously, but I'll mention things that are relevant and not invasive of privacy.
We spoke for around a good two hours or so.![]()

We talked about his family, so much of it was very personal and contained things I can't repeat, but we also talked generally about his brothers and sister; previous marriages, the relevance of the "F." in "William F. Kinderman" (it turns out there is no name, it just "sounded good" lol), he cleared up some things for me re: Dimiter, and will be playing some of his EVP tapes to me next time I call.
We talked about a whole heap of other random stuff too, including his history with trying to get into acting, my signed copy of TTKK that is inscribed to Regis Toomey, who he was good friends with, and a lengthy story went along with that.
If there are any specific questions you'd like answered, I'd be happy to ask him during the next call. Oh, another one, I asked why Manfred Cutshaw was changed to Billy, and it was simply due to the fact that TTKK was far more humorous, and the name "Manfred" really didn't fit in with the reworking of the novel/film.
The Legion footage does exist somewhere ("at the bottom of a bin, probably", as Bill put it) and we each shared the same pissed off opinion towards Morgan Creek when that topic came up. Lots of laughs were had in general and it was an absolute delight.
I also made fun of his overuse of the word "incidentally" and massive lols were had. He said "meantime" or "meanwhile" is also a good one.
He also offered to send an inscribed copy of an alternate ("beautiful") cover art for Dimiter being released in the UK, I believe he said, along with some other rare TNC-related items.
I'll post more when I think of it.

I still can't quite believe it happened, to be honest.
Spoiler
Don't tell anyone, but I actually managed to record the first 56 minutes or so of the conversation, for archive's sake.
