I just got done reading this now, and wow! What an uplifting story. Bill was absolutely spot-on when he said the reader would want to hug it in the above interview. You will all love it too.

If you ever get a chance, track down a copy of "Tell them I'll remember you." Better yet, grab the audiobook read by Blatty. I have it btw. It's amazing and chock full of great stuff about his upbringing. I imagine there are shades of that throughout "Crazy."
Yes, I have the hardback version and the smaller paperback version. I started reading it a couple of years back but didn't get right into it, I'll read it after "Elsewhere". The audiobook (tape) version continues to elude me, even on eBay!
